The Third Eye Chakra

The Third Eye Chakra is located in the middle of the forehead, between the eyebrows. It's known as the "seat of divine wisdom". It's responsible for clairvoyance, intuition and awareness.

It forms part of a group of chakras which connect to each other, so that when you open up fully to this aspect of yourself, you become aware not only of what's happening inside your body but also outside it.

This chakra is associated with intuition, clairvoyance (knowing things before they happen), awareness and consciousness; ability to visualize and imagine; sense of purpose.

Color: Indigo or deep purple

The color of your third eye chakra will be indigo or deep purple. This blue-green color is associated with the element of light, which means you are more likely to be intuitive and psychic than other people who have a different shade of green in their third eye chakra.

The energy of your pineal gland also gives us access to higher consciousness, so if you're wondering why this area is so important for meditation and intuition then it's because these two things go hand in hand!

Element: Light

The third eye chakra is associated with light and enlightenment. It's the center of your consciousness, so when you're in tune with this energy it can lead you to clarity and understanding. Light has been shown to be important for mental clarity, so if your mind feels cloudy or foggy then it may be time to try some meditation or yoga poses that encourage the opening of the third eye chakra.

If you're having trouble focusing on anything at all right now—even something as simple as reading this text—then maybe looking into a crystal ball or gazing at an object made from quartz (a stone containing a high percentage of silicon dioxide) will help clear up whatever issues are plaguing your brain!

Associated with: Wisdom, intuition, clairvoyance, awareness, consciousness, ability to visualize and imagine, a sense of purpose.

It is the seat of consciousness itself. Wisdom comes from within - it's a state of being that allows you to see what is really happening in your life rather than just what you want or expect to happen. Wisdom allows us to make informed decisions about how we want our lives to unfold for us, so that we can live more happily without fear or regret later down the line (more on this later).

Intuition tells us what might happen before it does - whether it's an ache in your body or an idea for a book title! Intuition helps us know when something feels right for us and when we should listen up because there could be something important going on here! We all have some degree of intuition working inside ourselves all day long anyway though so don't worry too much about whether or not yours works properly...do what feels right instead :) Clairsentience is another type of sensing ability which means feeling vibrations coming through space as well as time itself; this includes both physical energy fields like radio waves and other types such as infrared light waves (which can penetrate walls) etcetera.; So if someone asks me “What do I feel?” then my answer would probably be “Nothing yet since nobody has told me anything yet!"

Governs: Head and brain

  • The Third Eye Chakra governs the head and brain.
  • It is associated with the Pineal Gland, which helps us to think and process information.
  • The Third Eye Chakra helps us see things with clarity and perspective, as well as being aware of our surroundings.
  • By opening up this chakra you will be able to be more present in everyday life by being able to see things clearly so that you can make better decisions on what path your life should take next.

Location of imbalance/blockage: Tension or pain in the head (jaw and jawline), blindness and vision issues.

A person with an imbalance or blockage in this chakra will experience tension or pain in their head (jaw and jawline), blindness and vision issues. Depending on how far along you are on your spiritual journey it may be more difficult for you to balance out these energies than someone who has been practicing yoga longer but still has some work left to do before they reach enlightenment!

Physical imbalances/ailments associated with this chakra include migraines and headaches, sinus congestion, strokes, seizures, and memory loss.

  • Migraines and headaches
  • Sinus congestion
  • Strokes

You might notice that these symptoms are similar to those experienced by people with a blocked third eye chakra. But what do they have in common? Well, if you’re not familiar with the term “chakra” (and who is?), a chakra is an energy center in your body—usually located on your head or abdomen—that helps you maintain balance and health. You can think of each chakra as being like an invisible antenna connected to all other parts of your body and mind/consciousness. When something affects this antennae, it can cause problems for other parts of yourself or even lead to physical illness!

The third eye chakra, or brow center, is associated with wisdom. It's often called the “eye of the mind” because it helps you see things from a different perspective. You can imagine what might happen if your third eye chakra was blocked from receiving information from your normal senses. You might not realize that something is wrong until it's too late!

The color indigo or deep purple-colored aura around this area indicates healing and purification of negative energies that may have been stored within this area for years due to trauma or unresolved issues from childhood experiences like abuse or neglect:

In the next post, we’ll look at some of the ways you can balance your Third Eye Chakra. The tips listed here are just a few of many that exist out there. You may find that some work better than others for you, so it's important to experiment with different practices until something works well for you.
